PMI’s roots trace back to the 1980s when we were first founded as Woodcock Management. During this time, the focus was clear—to manage affordable housing properties committed to excellence and community-centered values. From High Street to Sable Oaks

Our early days saw operations run from an office at Hight Street, a location that symbolized the foundational years of our company. As the business grew, we moved to Sable Oaks, embracing the challenges and opportunities that came with expansion. These moves reflected not only our physical growth but also our evolution as a company committed to adapting and thriving in a dynamic industry.

A New Era on Gorham Road

The next significant chapter in our journey was the establishment of our main corporate office off Gorham Road. This move marked a turning point, providing a centralized hub for our growing team and operations. It symbolized stability, professionalism, and our readiness to take on larger challenges in the affordable housing sector.

Becoming Preservation Management, Inc.

In the midst of our growth, in 1990 we transitioned from Woodcock Management to Preservation Management, Inc. This rebranding was more than a name change; it was a reflection of our mission to preserve and enhance affordable housing communities. With this new identity, we solidified our commitment to excellence, integrity, and service.
